Kroger and Walmart recall vegetables due to broken glass

UNDATED (WJRT) -- (10/18/10) -- Kroger and Walmart are pulling packs of vegetables from their freezers because they may contain fragments of broken glass.

The recall affects Kroger brand 12-ounce Green Peas with product codes of 1440 BU, 1440 BV, 1440 BW and 1600 BD. Also affected are Kroger brand 12-ounce peas and carrots with product codes 1960BD and 1960BE.

The Walmart products recalled include Great Value 12-ounce Steamable Sweet Peas, with "best by" dates of July 20 and 21, 2010, and Great Value 12-ounce Steamable Mixed Vegetables, with a "best by" dates of July 15.

So far, there have been no reports of injuries.
If you have either of these products, you should return it to the store for a full refund.
